Aman Lara is pleased to introduce Horizon Hope, our Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP) initiative, designed to help Canadian employers access a pool of highly skilled Afghan refugee candidates. Through the Federal Pathway Job Offer stream of EMPP, we aim to refer 25 qualified candidates for employment, while also facilitating family reunification.

Horizon Hope focuses on supporting refugees from some of the most vulnerable populations in Afghanistan, including former locally engaged staff, women and girls, journalists, media and human rights defenders, individuals from the LGBTQI+ community, and ethnic and religious minorities, including the Hazara.

By hiring through Horizon Hope, employers not only fill critical workforce needs but also contribute to providing a new beginning for individuals fleeing conflict and persecution. Read the full list of what the EMPP will do for the candidates you hire.

our committment

on thousands of vulnerable individuals.
